David is an award-winning filmmaker, songwriter, teacher, and on rare occasion, a stand-up comedian .He graduated with a B.A. in English from Binghamton University in 1999. After working for several years as a production assistant and coordinator, he attended the NY Film Academy. He has written and directed several short films and short documentaries that have played in underground film festivals. His short documentary, Debashish Bhattachyra: Trinity of Guitars was nominated for Best Music Video at the 2007 Action on Film International Film Festival. His spec ad spot, “Loving Pop Secret” beat out 72 spots in a short film competition, won a substantial cash award, and aired on Current TV. Currently, he is getting certified to teach English in New York State and ponders why his unproduced screenplays are collecting dust in his desk drawer. You can view his work here.

In his spare time, he enjoys boogieboarding, playing poker, and tries to date women way out of his league.
